Our Mission
The School of His Presence is a ministry of the Table of the Lord Ministries, Inc which provides a systematic training and teaching for Christians who desire to grow in intimacy with the Lord Jesus Christ. It begins with a two year course which will lead students in the understanding of who God is from the Bible and provide practical, experiential training on how to develop an intimate life with the Lord Jesus Christ, to hear His heart, know His will, commune with Him at all times and obey what they hear Him tell them to do.
Our History
The School of His Presence comes out of the journey of its founder Bob Sarbaugh who spent years looking for answers to many issues that have divided the body of Christ for years.
Though answers were available, they were hidden in writings of believers from the past and those who had taken the time to research and learn them. The desire to see the Church of Jesus function as His body, attached to Him as the head and making the impact on this world that is seen in scripture drove Bob deeper into relationship with the Lord. He talked with many believers who expressed they had never heard of the things he shared with them but they were hungry for more. After many years of full time ministry and then a full time market place career and learning how to know God in both, Bob began teaching classes in the churches he and his family were a part of. This led them to the Eastern Gate House of Prayer where Bob began the School of Ministry in September 2013, After several semester teaching classes and getting feed back from students of wanting more, Bob changed the classes to one class focused on scriptural teaching on who God is and who we are in Him. This became the basis for all He taught as those attending began to grow and encounter God in new ways. The students continued to ask for more and explain that they have not found this teaching anywhere even though they have longed for it deeply. This class progressed to Chronological Bible study in which God’s Kingdom plan was unfolded in the chronological unfolding of scripture again, deepening students understanding of their God.
In Summer of 2020, during the COVID19 lock down, God pressed Bob and His family in the understanding that it was time to step out into the dream and vision He had given them years ago and had been growing in them in this journey with Him. Thus the Table of the Lord Ministries was started with the School of His Presence.
