Today is the celebration of that day in history when the religious spirit that held a nation was forced to bow its knee to God’s plan and chosen One who came as a child of a carpenter’s family but was the God of the universe come in the likeness of sinful flesh to redeem mankind back to Himself. Jesus rode into Jerusalem that day. Jerusalem was God’s city where He chose to have His name dwell but it had become the seat of a religious spirit that had gained a political influence over the people. Religion comes from the heart of men. Politics is a system which seeks to control and manipulate men. That day the people proclaimed , “Blessed is the King who comes in the Name of the Lord! Religion lost it’s power as men and women cried out the final truth!
“Jesus is Lord to the glory of God the Father”.
No one and no spirit could silence that truth that day. A week later that religious spirit would take its vengeance out of the hearts of men accusing Jesus with a religious crime of claiming to be God. It would cry on the political spirit to bring the most excruciating form of death imagined in the minds of men to take the life of Jesus only to find it had committed suicide because neither death nor any person or human could defeat this King. Palm Sunday celebrates the fall of the religious spirit in the hearts of men. Proclaim it today.
“Therefore God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father”
Break the power of the religious spirit in your life, family, church, city and nation. Jesus alone rules. Let no other! Do not be silent any longer. https://tableofthelordministries.org/2022/03/21/prophetic-song-for-gods-people-today/
